On Tuesday, we got on the bus at 11:30 and rode for about half an hour to the Pavilions of Turkey Run for the Great American Barbecue. All you could see were beautiful trees, a million leaves, and amazing landscapes. When I got there I played volleyball, which I was terrible at, and then went for lunch. The meal was really organized and very tasty. After lunch I played softball and got to hit once where I got a double. Later they had a pitching tent set up where I threw a ball that the guy said was 45 miles per hour. Later we took a bus to the Canadian Embassy where we met Canadian Ambassador Michael Wilson. Finally we went for supper at Filomena Ristorante which was so good but the portions were humungous.

Today, Wednesday, I went to Annapolis which was a 40 minute bus ride. After arriving, I went on a boat tour which was also 40 minutes long and was chilly. Later, we went for lunch at the Naval Academy and met someone who was enrolled there. Next, there were guides dressed up from the 1700’s that gave us a tour. The pace was fast but it was interesting and I learned a lot. After the tour we grabbed an ice cream and rode the bus back to the hotel. Later there will be a speller’s’ meeting and following that we will have supper at Tony Cheng’s in nearby China Town.

Well that was my day and remember to sign up your school! Your students could have the chance of a lifetime, so hurry up!

Hey Logan

It sounds like you are having an amazing time. There is a great picure in today's paper of you with the Canadian Ambassador. We know you will do well today. Keep enjoying the experience and having fun. We can hardly wait to see your pictures and hear about everything.
